We pride ourselves in offering a variety of activities for parents to become active participants in their children's education. Twin Lakes has a full-time Community Liaison whose job it is to support and be a link to parents in understanding the educational process. Parents are given the opportunity to be part of many committees, such as the Parent Action Team, School Site Council, PBIS, Booster and ASB clubs and Superintendent Parent Action Committee.
Throughout the year, there are other ways to become involved. Twin Lakes offers Saturday Family Trips, and this year we are going to a UCLA/Arizona State Football Game to celebrate "College Day" at UCLA. In addition, Twin Lakes partners with a community organization, Kaleidoscope to provide Saturday Soccer Clinics and mentoring for students.
Please come and join us for our Family Reading Nights, P.E. and Nutrition Night, Harvest Festival and Summer Think Stretch Program. Parents are encouraged to attend our monthly TPAC meetings, take ESL classes, computer classes, be part of our Family Garden Project and get information on our Write From The Beginning writing process, Language Arts and Mathematical programs.
Students become educated and responsible citizens when schools and parents become partners.
